The most important name was one of entrant. It could be "A" name of an workshop, "B" name on a van carrying racing cars to race and "C" name in official entry list while name of car could be "D". Modern statistical action on pre-F1 era always fails to give historically correct result. Originally posted by Quklis Sure there was, but isn't the team usually also the entrant..?

Bira had for years been very fond of the marvellous little racers of Lord Austin and had always longed to drive one of them. I noticed that Lord Austin had entered a team of three new overhead-valve Austins in this race, but his side-valve model was free. I therefore wrote to him and suggested that he should lend this car to me, so that I could enter Bira in the Nuflfield Trophy Race.
