Conducted in biweekly sessions designed to carry out conflict resolution, anger management, individual counseling and mentoring, social and cultural enrichment, decision-making skills, social competence, resistance skills and normative beliefs. The goal of this program is to reduce insubordination, fighting, gang participation, drug use and other anti-social behaviors among participants.

These young men were identified to participate in this mentorship program due to problems with truancy, poor grades, gang-related activity and anti-social behavior. I started with a group of 15 boys in September By the time the school year ended, the group had mushroomed to 40 forty boys.
