This story has been updated to add to new information. Police have identified the suspect involved in a Thursday shooting at Joseph Chevrolet car dealership in Colerain Township. Rashid Dewees, 21, an employee at the dealership, has been arrested and charged, township police said in a news release.
No one was injured in the shooting, officials said. At approximately 4 p. Upon their arrival, officers heard an additional shot fired from inside the dealership and observed people running. Within minutes, officers entered the building, located the shooter inside the showroom and took him into custody without further incident.
Dewees was charged with two misdemeanors, aggravated menacing and inducing panic, officials said. He is currently being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center.
Police did not give a motive for the shooting.
