Police in Wisconsin are searching for a man, who has ties to northern Illinois, that is wanted for financially victimizing women through dating apps, authorities said. Timothy L. Olson, 52, has an active warrant for five counts of felony personal identity theft for financial gain. The warrant stemmed from an investigation by the Mt.
Pleasant, Wisconsin Police Department. Kristi Wilcox said Olson meets women on dating apps and then victimizes them, resulting in financial loss. Racine police say they are looking to speak to Olson regarding similar incidents in their jurisdiction. Olson, who is approximately 6-foot-3 and weighs around pounds, has ties to southeastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois, Wilcox said.
