At the beginning of each year, The Woodlands Methodist Church emphasizes the value of stewardship, encouraging generosity and the annual financial commitments of its members to support the vital work of its ministries. Stewardship is about intentionally making room for God in our lives.
By living this way, we grow in faith, deepen our connections with others, and become part of something bigger than ourselves. Generosity honors the greatest gift God has given us β His Son, Jesus.
When we give, we reflect His spirit of generosity, offering our time, talents and resources as a way to honor God and share His love with others. What we give, no matter how small, creates waves that impact others in ways we may never see. He wants us to live with open hands, giving from a heart of gratitude and trusting Him to provide for our needs while we use what we have to bless others. Tithing is a biblical practice that teaches us to prioritize God.
