You must be at least age twenty 20 by the start of the Academy which begins in August and must have reached age twenty-one 21 by the projected Academy graduation date in February You must be a United States Citizen and once hired you must reside within a sixty-minute drive of City Hall. Complete the Eligibility Questionnaire see link at top of page and submit by email to ccpdrecruiter cctexas. A background investigator will review your EQ to verify that you meet our minimum requirements for employment and then provide you with an Application for Employment.
Complete and submit your Application and any other requested documents by mail or in person within seven days, making sure you provide all requested information. Be thorough and remember if you have questions, our recruiting staff is here to help you through the process. Once your Application has been received, a background investigator will review it for completeness and then schedule you for the written exam and physical efficiency battery.
