Belfast Zoo has a core team of about 45 staff working across varied career opportunities including animal care and management, gardening, marketing, visitor services, maintenance, records and education. Researching animal behaviour is important as it helps us to understand our animals and provide them with the best care possible. It is also important to research rare or under-researched species so we can learn more about them.
