A trip to Razor Bay to locate them brings another surprise. Their short time together in the Bahamas after a chance encounter was nothing short of magical. But when his job tore him away unexpectedly that night seven years ago, he thought she had moved on without him. Turns out there was a lot more to the situation than his boss ever told him. We get to know a lot of characters in this story. Some from the previous two books, some new. Ultimately this centers around Tasha and Luc, with their crazy backstory from seven years ago.
But I was very happy that some of the secondary characters, specifically Jeremy and Peyton, got their chance to shine here as well. I was every bit as invested in them as I was our protagonists, so to me, that is a true testament to how well Ms. Anderson molded her characters and story together. And somehow between reading book two and book three, I forgot just how steamy and passionately the love scenes are written.
Talk about sexyโand fun! Luc and Tasha had insane chemistry together, beginning back in the Bahamas and it only seemed to have intensified when they meet again in Razor Bay. I will admit I was a little put off by how fast Tasha jumped to conclusions with Luc, but after finding out everything that happened to her during her two days in jail, I had to give her a free pass on her attitude. Nothing like seeing a big tough guy crumble from the intensity of love.
I would recommend No Strings Attached if you love romances with a solid plot, great small town feel, and where a confusing mixed up situation blossoms into true love. The following twoโwhen she got thrown into a Bahamian jail on bogus chargesโwere her worst. Now, seven years later, the undercover DEA agent is back.
