Rosecrance Residential care campuses in Illinois and Iowa are designed to support a fully immersive, holistic approach to treatment for substance use, mental health, and co-occurring disorders. Our physician-led clinical teams provide outcomes-based care for individuals with complex behavioral health challenges.
Our nationally recognized, evidence-based addiction treatment is tailored as needed to serve men, women, women with children, adolescents, young adults, older adults, first responders, frontline workers, veterans, individuals reengaging their recovery, and people with who have a dual-diagnosis with mental health conditions. Our immersive residential treatment programs offer care for adolescents with a range of mental health concerns, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma and abuse-related conditions, and suicidal behaviors.
We also specialize in treating teens with substance use disorders. Residential treatment helps people develop essential tools and rebuild positive, healthy relationships. Rosecrance uses evidenced-based therapeutic methods such as DBT, CBT, and motivational interviewing for emotion regulation and coping skills. Clients and families also receive deep addiction and relapse prevention education to help remove barriers to recovery.
Psychiatric services and medication management are also available, as needed. Residential treatment is robust, lending to a holistic care approach to support therapy and addiction treatment. Clients participate in therapeutic recreation, which includes everything from art to horticulture to music, health and wellness programming, Step education, spiritual wellness, family education and support, and alumni relations including planned sober activities. Medically monitored detox care is available in Illinois and Iowa for individuals struggling with alcohol and drug use.
Care is individualized and includes substance use and or addiction education and counseling, while helping manage the symptoms of withdrawal. The respect and understanding from the counselors were very comforting and helped me be honest and appreciative of the help. Abby Nelson coordinates therapeutic recreation programs that guide adolescent and adult clients toward healthy habits, connection, and leisure activities across Rosecrance.
