Stressors abound in many forms: physical, emotional, environmental Our daily routines, our diets, and our sleep habits all combine in elegant and unique ways to create our individual beings and our collective societies. Navigating the path out of those situations can be a puzzling maze, and that is one way holistic bodywork therapies such as massage, craniosacral, acupressure, chi nei tsang, and tuina, paired with personal practices such as meditation, nutrition, hydration, posture, and movement can help.
Often, holistic bodywork introduces people to themselves as they traverse that maze. Using a unique blend of healing modalities and client education, backed by over fifteen years of experience working in several health sciences and continuing education fields, my goal as a physiologist and holistic bodyworker is to help teach the mind how to hear the body so that the mind and body may work together to find effective pathways to true healing.
I also teach qigong, and invite anyone interested to contact me about the current schedule, which changes seasonally half the classes are held outside. All levels are welcome: no experience required. Our bodies and our minds speak to us with different voices, and if we choose to practice listening, the positive transformations we can make are real and astounding.
