Our purpose is to share the love of Christ with others, whether inside the church walls, on the streets of the inner-city, in a classroom, at a nursing home, or at special needs camps, we go anywhere we are called to by God. Our purpose is also internal β to teach and develop young people 7thth grade in the art of puppetry as well as disciple them to be Christian leaders in their community.
The ministry began in the late s by David Glover. He knew very little about puppetry, but had a knack for showmanship, art, and teaching. In he retired as Director but has stayed in a supportive role building sets, puppets, and occasionally filling in for the director as needed.
She began her puppetry career in the 7th grade, as most puppeteers do at Bellevue. During her time spent under the leadership of David Glover, she experienced puppeteering in many different places and settings, from a tiny hospital room in Mississippi, to the gang-ridden streets of Chicago, to a summer camp in upstate New York.
Sarah developed life-long friends in the ministry, as well as a love for the art itself. Instead of leaving the ministry after high school, she stayed as an assistant director, alongside another fellow puppeteer-turned-assistant director.
In college Sarah studied theatre production, acting, film production, and writing. She hopes to return to California to work in the entertainment industry one day. Jordan Park also entered the puppet ministry in 7th grade under the leadership of David Glover and Sarah Kenney.
