The symbols on the map indicated the approximate location of the source of the power outage, area impacted, as well as an estimate of the number of customers affected by a specific outage.
Find details on individual outages by clicking on the coloured icons. Coloured icons or regions represent the general area of a known power outage, not the exact location. Click the icon to see more information about that outage. The area affected by an outage will be highlighted in yellow.
It does not indicate that all customers in that are affected, details can be found by clicking on the outage icon within the highlighted area. Use the Search Outages tool to search for your individual account information.
Newfoundland Power's Service Territory is shaded in grey. Only outages affecting customers within our service territory will be displayed. Check NL Hydro's website if you are in an area serviced by them. Planned outages are outages we schedule in advance to allow our crews to perform system upgrades and ensure the continued reliability of our system. From the Outage List you can click the Planned Outage check box to show or hide the Planned Outages currently taking place within our service territory.
