I spent over a year lazily fabricating the vision for a vintage-inspired big day; collecting old tablecloths in a specific color scheme and rummaging through flea markets for old soda bottles and, my favorite, blue mason jars. I felt relaxed until just about three days before, and then went into a bit of a turbo stress mode.
I still had a great time during the wedding, but at first I had trouble releasing management to my day of coordinator and even got a tension headache.
However, an Advil and glass of wine later, and I was enjoying the fruits of my labor along with my guests. I would recommend trying your best to let go of the details mine ended up beautiful, anyway! What was once used in the mid 's during the cattle boom for fiestas and rodeos was the perfect place for this Southern California couple to say "I do"! The couple was gorgeous, the venue was awesome and the party rocked the afternoon into night!
