The Missoula Area Youth Hockey Association offers winter in-house hockey programs for players ages 5 through These programs are designed to provide equal opportunities for players to learn and enjoy hockey while developing personal and team cooperation skills. We recommend that players with no hockey experience complete at least one Learn to Play Hockey session before entering the house league.

The house season runs weeks β November 3, through February 26, β with a two-week break over the holidays between December 20, and January 4, Termites, Mites, Girls, and Squirts can choose either a full season or half-season: November 4βDecember 18, 7 weeks or January 6-February 26, 8 weeks.
House Plus is for Mite, Squirt, or Peewee house players and provides opportunities for players to enhance their skills and participate in additional practices and competitions beyond the regular house program. The registration fee covers at least four tournament or jamboree fees, unique House Plus jerseys, and additional practice slots throughout the season.
House Plus team practices will be posted by mid-October. There are no pro-rated fees for this program. The program emphasizes advanced skating, puck skills, and small area games. Players receive approximately 15 hours of additional weekend coached ice time over the course of the winter season. Ice times vary based on ice availability and Plus team schedules.
Dates and times will be posted by mid-October. This program is for players birth years and older to get additional development ice time during the week. Morning Skills sessions will run from am on Tuesday mornings, beginning November 5th. Players will need a USA Hockey number to register for fall programs. This is done at an additional cost directly through USA Hockey.
