TheTempleBarPub is the biggest ripoff in the country. A fourth person even suggested calling the police over the cost of the pints and said: 'Said it before and I'll say it again. The guards have to be rung. By Jaysus go take photos then step away for a pint that you don't need to remortgage the gaff for'. A fifth X user disagreed that the pub was bad value but still suggested an alternative: 'The Temple Bar isn't a pub.
It's a tourist attraction. Someone else recalled: 'I used to walk through Temple Bar to get to the Czech Inn, was literally right around the corner and half the price'. While an eighth suggested a more radical approach: 'Just don't go there. And if everyone follows suit, price drops will soon follow'. One person commented: 'Honestly don't mind as long as it's a great pint of the black stuff.
Others still were more surprised by the price of other items listed on the receipt. I mean it's Harp lager'. The current outrage over the price of a pint of Guinness at The Temple Bar Pub in Dublin comes after UK supermarkets and off-licences were affected by shortages of the stout in the run up to Christmas and New Year's Eve.
