A veteran Steuben County town justice who was under state investigation after a drunken driving arrest last summer has resigned. Kuck in November following her June arrest in the Town of Erwin, announced Monday that Kuck has officially resigned from her post as of Jan.
Troopers charged Kuck with driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol level of. In October, Kuck pleaded guilty to misdemeanor driving while intoxicated in satisfaction of all the charges, according to the Commission on Correction. As part of her decision to resign, Kuck agreed never to seek or accept judicial office at any time in the future. The commission issued an order accepting the stipulation Jan.
