June 28, β Construction is currently underway on a new phase of the Memorial Waterfront Park project. Mount Pleasant residents and visitors can look forward to an array of features adding to the already thriving park. Phase III of the project encompasses several additions, including a multipurpose sports court accommodating two basketball courts and four pickleball courts, a splash pad fountain play area with a water tower feature, a restroom facility, a dedicated dog park, an exercise area, an expanded maintenance facility, and improved parking.
