One of my favorite things to do is find FREE things for us to do as a family, and we really have some great options here in the Cleveland area. From libraries to nature centers to event activities to museums, Cleveland has it all! The community art center is a free, fun, and educational hands-on experience open to the public Friday-Sunday.
Check out the community arts center, especially if you have an aspiring artist like me. A post shared by Cleveland With Kids clewithkids. Arcade games, jumbo jenga, hookie, jumbo connect four, and their huge lite board are all FREE with the purchase of at least one adult beverage. You can also pay for extra games like duck pin bowling, pinball machines, and bocce ball.
Prices are listed on their website. Pins is a great spot for kids and adults. Pins is only kid-friendly until 8p. Check their website for times and more info.
We ordered a pizza from Pizza Whirl, which is only a block away. Libraries have been our go-to destination for a long time. Many libraries offer great spaces for the kids to play and learn. Check it out here. We love exploring nature, and having a great indoor option to play and have fun is always a huge bonus. Check out this list to see 11 of our favorite nature centers. They also earn an iron-on-patch for their apron.
Aprons are free and are given the first-time they attend a workshop. Typically the builds take us 30min to 45min. Be sure to register here. The first Saturday of the month Home Depot has a free in-store workshop for kids. Each kid receives a craft to build, an apron, and a pin that has a little picture of the craft of the month. The crafts usually require them to use hammers, screwdrivers, and paint brushes.
