Obituary Lucinda Trapp Ravnell, 83, went home to be with the Lord carried by angels to the arms of Jesus Wensday morning October 17, at the home of her loving son and his wife, Ernest and Jeannie Ravnell who were at her bedside at the time of her crossing.
She lived her adult life in Jacksonville, FL and her last request was to leave Florida and go to the mountains of Tennessee with her loving son, Ernest for her final days. Ernest and Jeannie Ravnell were blessed to be with her as she crossed her last and most beautiful mountain.
She was in Cleveland with her son, Ernest for only16 days. A time spent talking, hugging, crying, laughing and above all feeling the love we had for each other. Lucinda was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker who raised two wonderful sons, one who was waiting at the gates of heaven for her.
She had a wonderful love of children and raised a multitude of them. It did not matter that they were not of her blood. She loved them as her own with her heart of gold. If a stranger showed up at her house hungry, they left full. She always took great pride in her cooking. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law Ernest Ravnell III and Jeannie, five grandsons, ten granddaughters, twenty two great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren and a host of other extended family members and friends.
