Cassandra "Cassie" Hack. The main protagonist of the series. Cassie had quite a hard life : her father went missing , her peers bullied her at school, and eventually her mother went insane and started brutally slaughtering her bullies in an effort to protect her.
When Cassie found out, she called the authorities, leading to her mother's suicide. She was then sent to a foster family, only for her mother to rise as a slasher and start killing her new classmates again, eventually ending with Cassie forced to kill her a second time.
At this point, the poor girl decided to fight back, and started wandering in the USA, killing all the slashers she could find. Action Girl : Definitely.
She is someone who regularly fight undead superpowered serial killers, after all. Action Girlfriend : For Margaret for a time. Agony of the Feet : Loses two toes to torture inflicted by Doctor Gross in the first issue of her first ongoing. Anti-Hero : She is a good person, but her ways of dealing with her villains are Though to be fair, she fight undead sociopathic serial killers, so it's not like if they didn't have it coming.
Back from the Dead : After being accidentally shot by a cop, she is resurrected by Evil Ernie. Badass Adorable : A small, cute teenage girl who regularly dispatches undead serial killers of her own. This is especially apparent at 17 in My First Maniac. Badass Normal : For most of the series, she has no power beside her wits, fighting skills and guts.
