Introduction Until recently, cultural psychologists and other scholars have devoted little attention to the phenomenon of casual sex. In recent years, however, scholars have become interested in learning more about the nature of casual sex.
We will also review what we know about the effects of such activity with specific focus on problematizing the risk-only approach , and suggest possible directions that future research might take.
