Prime Time Adult Care, Inc. The ministry has grown into a five-day-a week program that is licensed by the Pennsylvania Dept. The goal of Prime Time is to activate, reinstitute, or maintain function of our clients to the greatest extent of their ability and add to the quality of life not only for the client but the caregiver as well. With this help, individuals are able to remain at home for longer periods of time; thus delaying or possibly even avoiding the costly and emotional stress of hour residential settings.
While the client is here the caregivers receive the respite time that is beneficial to their physical, social, mental and emotional well-being. Every activity is planned not only for the enjoyment of our clients but with therapeutic benefits in mind. Activities such as daily exercise that helps to maintain mobility, a level of independence and stimulate circulation to word scrambles that stimulate our minds and often initiates conversation with others.
After a family has made a phone or email inquiry, a time to come in and visit the center is made with the Director. During this visit you will be given several forms that will need to be completed by a physician. At age 89 with dementia, she has friends and has meaningful activities each day. After her first day back after the center re-opened in April, it was evident how this program enriches and affects her well-being.
