Irvine police say Sherwin Ngo posted personal ads offering sex on Craigslist, pretending to be female. On at least one occasion, he knowingly had sexual contact with a minor. There are two known victims. The first victim, a year-old boy from Irvine, was identified after his mother found explicit emails on his tablet computer. The second victim is a year-old boy from Mission Viejo.
Detectives believe there may be additional victims. When investigators served a search warrant on Ngo's email accounts, they found a large number of emails relevant to this case. Ngo was arrested for felony lewd conduct with a child at his work place, a financial institution in Irvine, and booked into the Orange County Jail on Friday.
