Social events such as birthday and holiday parties strengthen the sense of community. Our hot lunch provides vital nutritional support at an affordable price. Membership is free to anyone 60 and older. Our more than 3, members come from diverse racial, ethnic, and religious backgrounds. They are actively involved in the centers, so that the services and activities reflect their interests.
Members also work with staff to reach out to their homebound peers through our Senior Outreach program. Our goal is to enable older adults to maintain their independence, stability, and social connectedness to their communities. We provide practical support to address health issues and almost any other problem that independent older adults are likely to face.
