The program has been on hiatus due to the COVID pandemic but will be offered this spring for the first time since For the first time since , Brock students have a chance to complete courses at the University of Florida and a paid internship at Walt Disney World Resort starting this spring β but the application deadline is coming soon.
Students who are accepted to the program will complete two online courses delivered by the University of Florida starting in May. Then, in August, successful applicants will begin a third course and their paid internship at Walt Disney World Resort, which will run until December. In total, students earn the equivalent of 2. The internship may also qualify as a co-op work term. Christina Bosilo, Director of Brock International, says the partnership provides students with the opportunity to gain academic credit and valuable work and training experience.

During their ten days in Vancouver, students participated in seminars, walking seminars, self-guided explorations, and museum tours.
While these activities focused on theories and concepts related to Geography and Tourism Studies, students were also challenged to reflect on their experiences during seminars and in their daily field book entries.
Included among the challenges were to reflect on: how well the example of Vancouver fit with their existing knowledge of urban processes; how their experiences challenged their existing knowledge or beliefs; and, how they might attempt to define solutions to problems they encountered. During their free days, students explored the city and environs. The students had an excellent time in Vancouver with Dr. Ripmeester and Hannah. Here are some of their reflections:.
