Stretching is an integral part of keeping your body healthy - giving you better range of motion and mobility and relieving stiff muscles and achy joints. Therapist-guided and assisted stretching allows the application of full range-of-motion movements to your body, while your spine is in a safe and supported position.
We will be able to move your body into positions that break through the hard fascia barriers that might not be possible to achieve on your own. So much body pain is a result of muscle imbalance and our knowledge and expertise can distinguish which muscles are tight vs weak. We then can apply the right kind of stretch and tension to each muscle, thereby increasing mobility and decreasing pain.
During these sessions, the Muscular Therapist will ask you a series of detailed questions to better understand your current state of health and wellness, help clarify your health, stress, and overall wellness goals. Mentoring is offered to support and educate body workers to assist in his or her own practice. Practitioners can work with Jessica, an advanced trained CranioSacral Therapist and skilled and gifted muscular therapist with a strong knowledge base in human physiology and biomechanics, to review manual therapy techniques, work through patient case studies, deepen his or her knowledge and skill set, and to improve confidence and patient outcomes.
