Garfield County deputies found a vehicle in Glenwood Springs that was reported stolen from Greeley. Authorities attempted to contact the individual driving the car but the driver allegedly did not stop. A pursuit began on westbound US. The Silt Police Department deployed a tire deflation device on I70 which successfully deflated three of the four wheels. Despite the flats, the pursuit continued at a lower rate of speed for several miles. Deputies followed the vehicle ensuring traffic did not overtake the disabled car, GARCO said in a press release.
