From the beginning, participants have welcomed the mix of learning formats, self-study and synchronous events. The AO Spine Global Spine Diploma Program Program is the first globally developed, systematic spine surgery training pathway for recently graduated orthopedic surgeons and neurosurgeons. Built on the AO Spine Curriculum it ensures targeted development of cognitive, procedural, nontechnical, and nonoperative skills. It was a two-part online exam consisting of 60 multiple-choice questions and an oral exam that covered six clinical case scenarios.
