Looking on google brought up more 'sensual' massage options than anything else. It depends what you like. I've used a few providers through special deals on Grab One and Treat Me. It's a good and less expensive way to try a few out and find someone you like. Everyone is different. Personally I don't really like the Asian style massages that are prevalent in Wellington.
East Day Spa is a very nice experience, but pricey. Absolute Therapy is really good and probably my preferred main spa in town. However I would highly recommend Gillian Parkinson.
She is very reasonably priced and very good. She operates out of her home in Miramar but the down side is the latest she will start a massage is 5. I prefer a proper therapeutic massage to undo the stress knots in my shoulders. So I go for a massage for a specific purpose, that may mean that my recommendations don't suit you, but if you say what you're after, I might be able to help more.
