Terry has been working hard going over the final manuscript for The Ballad of John Lee , and I have been doing a lot of pre-publication work. As I shared a few days ago, I wrote the first chapters for two different new John Lee Quarrels books, one of which will go in the back of The Ballad Of John Lee as a preview once it comes out.
Hopefully it will be out toward the end of the year. In the meantime, this week I plan to start working on Big Lake Misfit , and after that will come Baby Boom , the next book in the Tinder Street series. I never have time to get bored. There is television, too. For the last few evenings, we have been binge watching Doctor Finlay on Amazon Prime. It includes stories about sleeping in a real bed when visiting relatives, how to get rid of your husband for a little while , and special RVers such as the gentleman who had a complete heart transplant 19 years previously.

When Terry makes cookies, she makes up the dough and keeps it in the refrigerator, and then in the evening when we want some she just scoops out enough batter to make two or three cookies each.
