Sojourners with Healing Hearts has traveled across Palm Beach County and throughout South Florida working to raise awareness, provide support and resources to African American women and women of color. It is our belief that we can make a differenceβone woman, and one family at a time. Our greater effort is to work collectively to reduce and eliminate the detriment of breast cancer in the lives of African American families.
Sojourners provides support, education, and encouragement through various community outreach opportunities in Palm Beach County. Our belief is that each woman, regardless of her race, creed, or religion has the right to be treated with dignity as support is rendered to her.
Our purpose is to walk with women sojourning this journey, encouraging them and their families to keep the faith and embrace hope. We welcome opportunities to speak, conduct workshops, participate in health fairs and events to educate the public on breast cancer. We work with various organizations in our local community to improve breast cancer awareness and provide services to local underserved women.
We make payments for survivors:. Medical Bills and Co-payments. Transportation to Medical Visits. Being kindred spirits who offer support in the physical, mental, and spiritual healing of persons affected by breast cancer is what drives us to make real impact.
