The project aims to strengthen water and food security at the national level, drive economic growth, and reduce poverty, social disparities, and gender inequalities. The project requires the services of a qualified researcher to spearhead the implementation of the climate-smart agriculture component. The ideal candidate is a native of Iraq who is familiar with the field sites in Iraq. Women candidates are encouraged to apply.
The scope of the work will also cover scaling technologies through the farmer field school approach, setting up demonstration plots, and establishing seed production units. The candidate will be involved in data collection, analysis, keeping, and report writing.
