They may then be extended for an additional period of 1 to 11 years, at the discretion of the SDA agent assessing the case.
Multiple extensions can be issued, but the total validity period of a temporary residence permit in Georgia cannot exceed 12 years. In most cases, after 10 years you would be able to apply for permanent residency.
