The outdoors is a key component of a traditional camp experience, and Camp Hyde has acres of exploration that are perfect for adventures of every kind that lead to increased confidence, character and cooperation. Our Traditional Camp offers kids a variety of physical, social, and educational activities that are based on a different weekly theme to keep camp fresh and exciting and to allow for more discovery throughout the summer. Kids can be themselves while enjoying: the lake, climbing tower, water slide, hiking trails, nature center, archery range, canoes and kayaks, yoga and board games, and so much more.

Learn the basics of riding and grooming! Parents are encouraged to join us for Camp Rodeo days where campers have a chance to show off what they have learned. Equestrian campers have the opportunity to spend the night at Camp Hyde. Must be enrolled in Equestrian Camp the week of Overnight to attend. Bring sleeping bag, pillow, change of clothes, toiletries and an extra lunch for next day.
