If he comes at a reasonable enough price, the Broncos could end up with a solid reserve offensive lineman.
If he ends up getting paid starter money, I am not sure the Broncos would be well off having him start a full season. If the idea is to get better on the talent side, then swapping McGovern for Finney looks like a downgrade - not an upgrade.
If he is available at that point, then Denver could end up getting a low cost veteran who can play multiple positions along the offensive line. That would definitely help the depth situation there.
