The woman wasn't able to breathe at times as she struggled to resist him. Raney then allegedly threatened to shoot her and implied he had a gun in his pocket.
The woman says she never saw a gun, but could see an object that may have been a gun through his pants pocket. Raney reportedly proceeded to punch, kick and bite her.
He also dropped a car jack on her back, hit her with a crow bar and beat her head into the concrete, according to the Sheriff's Office. The woman ultimately heard Raney leave the garage in his car, reports indicate. She ran through a field and scaled a wooden fence to ask a neighbor for help.
