The hotel was good and the breakfast was perfect, enough choice. If you want to eat dinner at the restaurant, we do not recommend that. The staff who was working that evening was bad. The person who served us was not used to working in the hospitality industry.
And therefore made a lot of mistakes like spilling a pepper barrel over me. In addition, at the end of the bill we were also surprised. And she confirmed that we could eat this for that price, but when we got the bill we had to pay everything so not the menu price. After bringing this up at the reception the hotel did nothing about it.
A mistake by their staff that they didn't want to admit, a very unfortunate experience for us. Next time we will think about booking with this hotel chain, because if they listen to their guests in this way, this says more than enough. Very nice hotel. Literally next to a Metro stop. Price very good for Paris. Small bathroom but clean and recently renovated. A little noisy neighbourhood, so ear plugs are handy.
Also quite thin walls. Staff wlnderful and very helpful. Cleaning every day. If I were 20 years younger I would totally dig this. Uber cool design hotel, a hidden secret in an up-and-coming and grungy almost dangerous part of town.
Alas, visiting as a family, this property was out of the way from most attractions. The killer designer features also killed me with a thousand cuts with their lack of functionality. No matter how one tries, the room was always never bright enough. Certainly not great news for middle-aged presbyopia. The designer tap is so architecturally perfect in its proportions, so much so the kettle will never fill to a respectable volume because of the angle it has to be held at.
