She always had a desire to help people and thought of going into nursing but also enjoyed massage work. Sheila later fell in love with the beauty industry after receiving her massage therapy license at the Touch Therapy Institute where she studied esthetics at the Lu Ross Academy.
In addition to the movie industry, Sheila also worked at a day spa were she learned more about the beauty industry and esthetics. After studying esthetics, she went on to be certified in permanent make up and trained with Susan Church at the International Institute of Permanent Cosmetics.
