Journeys offers innovative group and individual developmental therapy for our adult participants. We also have an excellent Adult Day Health recreation program that provides great field trips, skill building, socializing, and is always fun! Journeys provides many options to meet the needs of adult clients. Our Developmental Therapy is preeminent among services providers and is known for the large range of activities we take part in.
Our community partnerships place us in a unique position to cater to every individuals talents and skills. As always, our certified staff are ready to help with every aspect of this process. Developmental Therapy is skill training based on the individualized needs of each client.
It is focused on goal areas involving daily living skills and improved independence. Our Developmental Therapy is done in small groups by trained developmental paraprofessionals. We provide this service in the home, community and in our facilities. Data is recorded as the service is provided and is charted to show improvements and milestones throughout the plan year.

Adult Day Health ADH is a support based service to meet the socialization and recreation based needs and interests of our clients. ADH is centered on client choice and gives them the chance to explore their interests and talents while interacting with their peers. These activities are also an exciting opportunity to practice skills learned through Developmental Therapy.
