Chances are, you've come across Biskie in many different places! In her time in the Shreveport-Bossier area, she has worked every single shift on The River and was the program director at the station for several years. She helped create community events like an Elvis-themed party, adult proms, and major movie debuts. She also moonlighted as Lady B on the weekends for sister station, 98 Rocks.
From there, Biskie made the jump from radio to television. She hosted and grew a lifestyle show, Loving Living Local, and found fresh, entertaining ways to highlight all of the best organizations, non-profits, and events the community has to offer. Beyond work, Biskie is actively involved with the local chapter of the Alzheimer's Association, and supports their mission to raise awareness and continue research to one day find a cure.
She also spends lots of time supporting different area non-profits, either helping them organize their events, serving as the mistress of ceremonies, or connecting them with the right people to get the job done.
That dedication earned her the honor of being a 40 Under 40 nominee for the class of Anyone who has met Biskie knows she loves the area and its people, but her real passion is animals. She frequently volunteers and does donation drives to help local shelters and rescues. Biskie has three completely spoiled fur kiddos of her own that are all rescues.
Dottie the dog, and Khan and Minnie the cats definitely run the Duncan household. You'll almost always find Biskie at the Shreveport Farmers' Market when its in season buying the best fresh produce to use for one of her favorite past times: cooking. Biskie loves to cook, bake, and watch tons of cooking shows. Another bonus of being at the market is she can talk to the farmers and get ideas for her own garden, which has taken over the backyard!
