Close out Pride Month with a Dance Party! Join us on the patio at The Lauber for a great evening of music on the patio. We will also be sharing information about what is happening this year for Pride month in South Bend. The Lauber will have drink specials that evening. Show your Pride at the Potawatomi Zoo! This is our fourth year for this great family friendly event. Come see the giraffes, the tigers, monkeys, otters, and all the other great animals at the zoo.
There will be food, vendor fair, a beer garden, and performance on the stage all day. Check out our Vendor page to learn how to table at the Festival. What: A casual group bicycle ride to celebrate and kick off Pride Month!
Followed by socializing at the Launch Party at The Lauber. Ample free parking available. When: Thursday, June 13th, Meet at pm eastern. Estimated ride time 45 minutes to 1 hour. The Ride: Family friendly ride! Entirely on the trail system, separated from vehicles with just a few road crossings. The group will ride at the pace set by the slowest member. Paved surface most of the way, flat with one significant downhill and one uphill.
What to bring : Bring your own bike, helmet, and water. Dress for the weather sunscreen, etc. Show your pride and wear Pride colors! Need a bike? Need a tune up? On a tight budget? You can learn how to fix your bike, buy a bike for an affordable price, or earn a bike by volunteering!
Not sure if your bike is road worthy? Stop by in the weeks before the Pride Ride to get your bike cleaned and tuned up so it's ready to go! Thanks to the South Bend Bike Garage volunteers for collaborating for a second year on this event! There will be no day of sales. All tickets will be sold online in advance. We will be showcasing some great local performers and we will be playing some Drag Bingo, so get your bingo card so you can play.
