Hi: I am coming to Israel next week for the first time and I want to know how the mikvaos work. Do I need to make an appointment? How much does it cost? What do they provide? Each mikveh in Israel works a little differently. Most do not require appointments β although it depends on the size of the community β and provide the essentials some provide much more. The cost if you prepare at home is about 15 shekels.
